About the wedding..

Hey everybody,

Let me check my schedule.. oh wait, I don't have a life, yeah I'm free until the 1st of Forever. Hey Jonathan, I will chip in that extra $3 to see your act. Also if anyone wants to share a hotel room and have a party and get wasted together I'm down for that too. It seems like the spring break trip or anything else before July is over too, but if anyone else still wants to try to get something together say something. Alright that's all I have for now, somebody else keep the blog alive.

Alissa's Wedding?

Hey dudes,

I'm curious (as a cat) about who is coming to St. Louis for Alissa's wedding. Chris promised to give me $2 if I bust into the wedding drunk and scream "STOP, I still love her!" and then collapse and urinate on myself. I'm strongly considering it, $3 more and I think I'd be a fool not to. Anyway, drop a blog and let us all know if you're coming. Hope all is well with everyone!

Later,
Jonathan

Sam Young chooses to play at Notre Dame over USC???

Found this news on the net...
thought everyone would be happy to know that our Aplastic Anemia, carcassed body, athlete of the century friend just committed to ND...good for you Sam...but I thought you were from Arizona...and about foot shorter...weight's about right I guess!!!!

St. Thomas Aquinas offensive lineman Sam Young announced Thursday that he has orally committed to play college football at Notre Dame. His announcement was broadcasted live on ESPNEWS.At 6-7, 302-pounds, Young also was highly recruited by USC and Michigan. He was the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Class 6A-5A-4A Player of the Year, Gatorade Florida Player of the Year and a Parade All-American. Overall he is the 23rd nationally ranked player in the country by Rivals.com and fourth nationally among lineman.
He joins St. Thomas teammate Dan Wenger, who had earlier committed to Notre Dame.

"Today, I fully expect Notre Dame to take its place back in the elite of the recruiting world (for which there was no earthly reason ever to leave.) Sam Young is the highest ranked recruit Notre Dame was after and this bell-weather recruit is expected to be Irish. Here's why Young is so important for Notre Dame: he's the type of player who should always go to Notre Dame, but hasn't in the past because of poor coaching and development."

- quote from ndnation.com

"I committed to Notre Dame today because they offer me the best opportunity academically and athletically... academics were a huge factor in my decision as Notre Dame's graduation rate is excellent."

- quote from Sam Young himself

GOOD FOR YOU BUDDY!!!!

Congratulations on the EA Sports fame, Mr. Axford. I heard they are coming out with an EA Sports Aplastic Anemia game in 2007, so you aint so special. When are you coming to Baltimore?

Well done on your membership to the patent bar, Pat. Im going to need a good patent attorney, what with all the great inventions in my head. Did I tell you about the poop colored toilet paper idea?

So I sense from the last few posts that a spring get-together is not going to happen. Unless someone tells me otherwise, I will assume this very regrettable intuition to be true. Let the record show that I am still up for a trip, if anyone else is.

Trip and EA Sports

I kind of agree with Pat as far as far as the trip goes. Something less expensive would probably be better and more flexible. I probably won't be completely free until after the first week of April (again Saturday class). I was wondering if it made sense to plan a trip for early summer.

I know John mentioned a trip to Rwanda, but I wasn't sure when that was going to be or for how long. I just figured John, Pat, and myself would all be done with school (Even Axford might be able to come). It is a lot easier for me to get away when I don't have school and a job. June 17th is the only weekend I can't go as far as I know all summer. Let me know what you all think.

Ax, I heard about that game. Looks pretty sweet. EA lost their MLB license, so they decided to make a game for college. I heard you can even see us holding up the Canadian flag while you are pitching.

Peace

Just wanted to let you all know (especially Chris to rub it in his face) that I'm going to be in a video game!
Check that shit out...http://www.easports.com/mvp06/index.jsp

Last years roster obviously so I'm gonna be on the Notre Dame team.
Completely awesome if you ask me. Looks ike EA sports finally gave in to the high demand of College Baseball...hahaha!

Check out these pictures...They look fucking awesome. Just like the stadium and shit!

Well, anyways, that's it from me right now. I'll try and let some of you know where i'll be playing this year. I know we start out in North Carolina and we're also in Baltimore maybe Tennessee I think too. I let ya'll know though.

Peace I'm out!

postGRAD

Um, I think I'm posting...

Sup lil niggas!

I miss you guys, sorry I didnt make it up for a foosball game. I went down to Charleston a few days ago to watch the game (or just drink a lot) with Greg and Alissa and Steve. So, this spring, dates: my "spring break" is March 6-10 (plus the weekends on either end, obviously), other than that I really cant leave town but for the weekend. And exams start in April, so I probably cant get away after March.

My two cents: we could try to do some wild and crazy stuff, but I think if we keep it down to earth there's a better chance of more of us coming, and then if its like a whole week thing then some guys can just pop in for the weekend. I don't know, um, camping in Kentucky or something, or how about Branson, Missouri? I'm fairly poor, but I imagine I can scrape together money for gas and food, and not too many more amenities than that.

So, the life of Pat Scarlett:
Um, law school is FANTASTIC. As my aunt calls it, "camp law school". Basically we get retarded for the first 2 and a half months of the semester, then buckle down for 6 weeks with like days of 12 hour studying. So most of my friends down here are attractive females, and I've got a sweet brand new house that I'm living in, so if anybody wants to drop in I can probably show you a good time!

And, you're looking at the newest member of the United States patent bar! I took this grueling 6-hour test yesterday that makes me a "patent agent", and then when I finish law school and pass the state bar I'll be a "patent attorney". "Preliminary results indicate that I passed". I'd better have; studying for that was my whole Christmas break. So now I'm applying for internships; I might be up Philly way, John!

Well, glad I rediscovered this blog; good hearing from you guys... I'll stay tuned. Later dudes!

Hey Jonathan. Whats up?

Dear John,

I can think of warmer places to go too. like hell. What 'brilliant' place did you have in mind? Knowing you, you probably want to burrow to the core of the earth. Not to be mean, but that's sort of a stupid idea...

Confused and angry

I was very confused by Ted's post...you're going to have to clarify some of that for me Teddo. Some of that was definately not English.

And I'm angry very angry....not really, just wanted you to read this. I agree with Chris: ixne on icagoche. I love the city, but I can think of warmer places to go to.

And broke Jonathan? Cmon! You make at least 50,000 times what I do......loans are great!

Glad to hear you're going well Axamaford. Sorry to hear I won't be seeing you soon. Let me know if you'll be playing near Philly.

Peace out

OOOOOO, Baby I Like it Raw!!!!!!

Dudes,

as you may have already figured out, I suck once again and will not (once again) be with you on any kind of trip. I have ball all spring long! But I guess that's also good. Chris, you did promise to drive here one time just to watch me pitch, so you better...OR ELSE!

Hope everyone had a great New Years...I blacked out and did stupid things as normal. Sorry I didn't get your calls Sam, I didn't pay my phone bill, so they decided to shut off my phone!!! HA! But, it's taken care of now.

Thought that I'd also drop this in there... Since I am now a Grad student getting my Master's Degree and also being awesome, I thought that I would let you know that I got a 3.9 this past semester...man I'm incredible! My best yet! Things are looking up for old John! Up, up, up, up, up!

Anyways, peace out homies.
Catch you on the flip side!

Lameness

I hope Sam won't mind me referring to Jonathan's lameness, but come on man! Senegal?? There are two reasons to go to Senegal: To do charity work and to die. And Rowlands are you really going to Rwanda?? OH well! I guess I'm just jealous because my exciting vacations are to the Wisconsin Dells.

I think Chicago is a bad idea for a trip because I live here and it would not be exciting for me. A long weekend would probably work best for me in April.

Peace out,
Chris

somebody scream.

fellow domers,

I'm going on a ski trip to Utah with my brothers the first weekend in March. Also, I'm going to visit Senegal for a week in late April. So basically, I have no vacation to take, not much time in March/April and I'm broke. I'm up for a driving somewhere for a long weekend. Chicago? I typically get Fridays off, so that helps. Sam, I imagine you're making a face of disgust as you read this and I look forward to a good tongue-lashing about my lameness. John, I told my sister about your anger and she didn't seem overly concerned. She claims it was 35, not 30. Besides, she's happy walking around the apartment refering to herself as Mary Staron. It does have a nice ring. Later dudes!

Jonathan

Sprink Break Dates

By Spring Break Dates, I mean days when we would go, not the type which Sam and John apparently may have in mind. Any date is pretty much the same for me.. it will just depend on whether I can get off of work for the time. My nd.edu email actually does still work somehow, and I did get Chris and Rowland's emails, but I also now have tedbangert@gmail.com.

When can you break it up '06 style?

Just talked to Sam......we want to get rollin on this Spring break trip. The next week isn't too busy for me, so I'd like to get something planned by the end of next week if at all possible. We can do it!

So, post on here or e-mail me ASAP (by Friday) when you CAN go on this sweet spring break for the months of March and April. Just put up all the dates you'll be able to go and the maximum amount of time you can set aside for a trip. It'd be great it we could get together for a full week, but at least an extra long weekend would be great.

So let me know!

postGRAD

Hello all......I humbly apologize for this being only my 2nd post ever. To be completely honest, I forgot about all of you until Chris e-mailed me today. No offense. It's just, that whole "friends" thing we all had was kind of a while ago, know what i mean?

On that note, I'd like to share the fact that Sam and I are back together as you can see from his latest e-mail:

"John, I waited by the phone all day monday, and all day yesterday. You promised me you would call. Sometimes I feel that you just dont care about "us" anymore. You used to call, remember? Those talks meant a lot to me, even if they were about nothing important at all. You know the kind, talking about the weather or a sports game or some silly thing like that. Just to know you were there, on the other end of that receiver, meant ever so much to me. Alas John, my heart is breaking. You understand that I am not trying to smother you, and that I respect your space. But please, please do pick up that telephone and dial my number. "

I called him shortly after and we're doing great now. Things couldn't be better.

So now lets talk about me. I have a new hobby of training goats which is great. I'm doing some research here in Phildelphia on urban goat riding and it's going really well for me. Ted's going to be joining me in the spring, which is something I look forward to daily.

Oh, and I'm going to Rwanda. That one' s for real. I'll be there this summer for about a month in a survivor's village....you've seen Hotel Rwanda right? Should be scenic.

Other than that, I'm just a plain old med student. We finished anatomy is very nice to be done with, and at the end of this month I'll be done with biochemistry too which I'm also excited to finish. I realized I actually hate science. Not really, but I'm looking foward to actually working in a hospital.

Just got back from Naples, FL with my parents....very nice break. And I'd really like to meet up with you guys for Spring Break '06. I don't have my schedule now from Feb. on, but I'm sure I could get it from someone. Most likely, it'll be the same as it's been. I'll be able to travel for the first 2 weeks of the month, then not for the 2nd two. i also have the last week of march off if that's a possibility.

So, you know I love planning this stuff, so let's plan it! Hope youalls doing well and I'll keep checkin on here more...promise.

later

Scary

Sam, that bad man is frightening me. I would love to hit up Atlantic City, but unfortunately I'm a loser and signed up for Saturday class this semester. I don't know what the hell I was thinking.

I hope everyone had a good New Years, and by that I mean I hope that Axford, Sundy, and Sam had a good New years because it appears they are the only ones dedicated to the blog. I'm gonna send out an email about some type of Spring time get together, so hopefully it has a chance of happening.

Work is work. I'm on the 5th book in the Chronicles of Narnia, so I'm well on my way to becoming a complete loser. I've even started fixing up my parents basement to live in. O, self deprication.

That's all I got, Later.
