Several things.
1. The Wu Tang Clan was awesome. At least, I assume it was...I didnt go. Everyone who was going to go with me crapped out last minute. I should have sacked up and gone to the 11 pm show in the ghetto of DC on a Monday night by myself, but I am a giant douche.
2. Wedding. Alright, so its on, and we are invited.
3. Polite request. Give the "carcass body" nickname some time off. Creeps me out.
4. I mistakingly hit next Blog on the postgrad site, and I was taken to this guys page: http://bendisplanet.blogspot.com/. I have no clue what the hell is going on and what language this might be, but its probably the coolest blog ever.
5. pat - single thick? wtf
ted - not sure on the ski trip, ill let you know

ROBOT REPLICATE IN FACTORY
Man, I love that video, thanks Teddo. Well, Old Red was in St. Louis last weekend and I made sure to get her to confirm that you're all invited to her wedding. To quote, "Oh they are so silly, of COURSE those boys are invited." I then began to ask questions about the availability of her sister and the conversation turned cold. Ice cold.
Things in the Lou are dandy. Apparently, St. Louis has the second largest Mardi Gras celebration next to New Orleans. I have no idea why. Regardless, it should provide me a golden opportunity to relive my glory days next weekend. Work is going very well. I've been working a lot of hours, but I keep getting more responsibility within my company and I'm currently design lead on two fairly large programs.
On a different note, I'm also getting hairier (I know, I didn't think it was possible either). I'm positive now that God has a sense of humor. I can just see Him chuckling and watching unlucky human males react as hair creeps from normal spots (such as the head) to areas like the triceps, shoulder blades, lower back and now, my palms. On a related thought, I bet He also watches us in fast forward melt into saggy old people. Except for clever Sam, who out of spite entered this world with a carcass body.
Well, this is getting absurd. Hope everyone is doing well! Later dudes.

Hell's Yeah!!!
Ted, I've got to give you credit for finding Monkey v. Robot. You guys remember that time we all watched it over and over again . . . that was pretty sweet.
As far as hotels go for Alissa's wedding. I know when I talked to her she was considering getting a shuttle from the hotel to the reception and then back to the hotel. They had the same deal for my brother's and sister's weddings and it was pretty nice. No taxis or picking up cars. I know Pat would probably drive regardless, but we don't want to get him in trouble before the BAR. And we should probably hold off making reservations, since technically none of us have been invited, or at least I haven't. Either way I'm going though, so I guess it doesn't matter that much.
Pat, I don't know about football season. I've already made my minimum donations so I can get in the lottery, but I'm guessing it will be harder to get tickets this year because of Chuck. The lottery doesn't happen until like April though, I think.
Axford, I checked your B-ball website and wasn't really sure which was the Kentucky college. Let me know, so I can try to start making plans for a road trip into Nascar country.

Open your yaps, boyos!
Alright guys, major party time in St. Louis. There is a zero percent chance that I'm missing ol' red's wedding. Somebody sign me up for a hotel room, 'cause I ain't sleeping alone after this bash, one way or another...
Axford, watch out, I'm going to be busting up Charlotte to watch you pitch, and maybe throw a few winks in the direction of Mrs. Axford (heh heh heh). But like all women in our ND lives, She's a Saint, to be sure
Old Sam, Rowlands: I may be making it up there sometime the week of the March 6-10 to interview with a firm or two in the area, and if I'm driving up there I might as well make a time of it... I'll let you know closer to the time.
Pat Scarlett's got a new significant other in his life; Robin from outside Charleston, a 5th year senior here. Good times, good times. Single thick; major babe.
Everybody: Sorry I didnt make it up for football season, and thus Alissa's wedding is going to be my first reunion, and I expect to paint the town red (no pun intended). I mean we need to be reaching deep down and pulling out some serious nostalgia, a la Ted's most recent hyperlink. Oh, and speaking of football season, does anyone have a clue what games we get an option on next year and who's going to what? If I can get a few bucks in my wallet this summer, I'd like to make it up too the good ol' Bend. Oh, and what are the rules on tailgating if I dont feel like watching boring-ball?
Anyhoo, good times ahead, peace y'all!

Memories
I was at work today and somehow I remembered this. Oh freshman year..
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4412806662713775705
Sam, by the way, I saw a book at barnes and noble that made me think of you and you might want before the concert.. it's an entire book about Wu Tang's 36 chambers with the rappers explaining what the lyrics mean and about them. I also actually would go skiing on st. patrick's day if you think I can learn to ski and then get in $200 worth of skiing in one weekend. Let me know if it's still open.
Peace Out,
Ted

Alissa's Sister is a Saint.
Happy Valentines Day to Everyone.
Godammit.
Anyway, a hotel is fine for Alissa's thing. Jonathan, can you pick out the best place? I'm happy to book a room.
Im going to go see Wu Tang Clan tonight, and am super happy about that. The RZA, the GZA, Ghostface Killah, Methodman, and so forth are on a tribute tour to ODB. Now as long as I dont get shot for my jacket while at the concert, I'll let you know how it goes.
Axford, when you play in Baltimore do you know whether or not you will be pitching?
Its the Wu Bitch.
And remember what Old Dirty Said.

Rule # 76: No Excuses, Play Like a Champion
Hey all,
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've actually been pretty busy with work, class, and now I'm in a couple basketball leagues. I should actually be working on a paper right now, so I'm gonna keep this short.
I completely agree with my former roommie that a hotel is the only way to go. I've confirmed this with Jonathan. Nobody is to stay at his place unless they are visiting is sister. Speaking of sisters, I think it is a given that Alissa's little sister will be at the wedding. (As you will note, I have not made a dirty comment)
Seamless Segway
With valentine's day coming up, I know it can be lonely (boy do I know!), so I hope all of you get through it ok. I find drinking outrageous amounts of alcohol helps.

Fast cars, danger, fire and knives!
Ax here,
I think that if it's in July I have a very good shot of making it in for the weekend (or whatever two days surround the wedding date)! I would also like to say that we are not staying at anyones house...It's a hotel, maybe even a suite or two, or nothing for me! I wanna go all out for it and have a gay old time. I would like to also state that Sam must bring his camera so we can watch old videos of ourselve in college while also making new ones (with big inflatable gloves).
I'm gettin myself excited!
Wellp...I"m outta here... I love you guys!
Oh...and before I forget...I'm going to be getting another tattoo! Not something dumb but just to give you a little back story: My grandfather passed away this past October and in his memory all of his sons (my uncles) and a couple of my dude first cousins got the crest from his army regiman that he was in when he was in war after WWII in Indonesia. It's an army helmet with a feather and a sword crossed behind it! I'm gonna be getting it either on my right shoulder or under my tattoo on the left shoulder...but if I did the left shoulder I would get a lot more than just that done...which means i would be getting almost half a sleeve done (maybe more like a quarter sleeve)! Thus fulfilling my lifelong dream and stepping closer to rock star status!
I'll psot a pic when i get it done!

Beautiful Bango
"...free until the first of forever."
Where do you come up with this brilliance, Maria? This comment made me miss you dearly and want to sock you in the face with a blown-up bat, sock-em boppers, Hulk gloves...
Ax, the wedding is July 15th and you need to come. Old Red's only getting married once.
Rowlands, I assume you're not coming to the wedding because if I recall correctly, "WOW, I am having such an awesome time in St. Louis but I am NEVER setting foot in this Godforsaken city EVER again."
Anyone is welcome to stay at my place for the wedding. However, I'm thinking a hotel party would be more fun and I would be less likely to break my own things when my drunk turns violent.

Well the proper girl in the hat just eye fucked the shit out of me!
What up fellers,
I will most likely be out for the wedding considering I didn't even get an e-mail about it and I don't even know when it is! But if it's in May sometime I'm down for just showing up completely drunk looking for some other drunk ladies...perhaps some proper girls in hats!
Someone just fill me in on when it is so I can at least send my regards (and a nice box with nothing in it but wrapped real expensive like)!
The season starts soon and I will be traveling to destinations hopefully near you!
Here's where i'll be in case its close by and you wanna take in a game or a weekend with me!
Feb 16-19 - Charlotte, North Carolina
Feb 23-26 - Cookeville, Tennessee
March 2-5 - Morehead, Kentucky
March 9-12 - Boone, North Carolina
March 13-15 - Baltimore, Maryland
March 17-19 - Emmitsburg, Maryland
After that the rest of them will be in the great state of New York and one trip to the dirty Jers.
Take care fellas.

Nice day for a White Wedding
Hello friends.
Regarding Alissa's matrimony. First, have any of you actually been invited? (I got the email, but it didnt mention an invite). Second, and assuming we all are invited: Ted, I would absolutely love to share a room with you...roomate redux redone. Only thing is, I will have to put the kabosh on any funny business you bring in after the wedding, ie drunk bridesmaids. As I fully, fully expect this to happen, you might want to shop around for another hotel mate. Of course, if anyone living in St. Louis, ahem, were to offer free lodging, I might be down for that too.
Now regarding a spring trip. It aint exactly Dublin, but over St. Pattys day some of the people I work with are going to be taking a ski trip to Seven Springs, PA, and friends are encouraged to come. The weekend will cost you $200, but this includes lift tickets, lodging on site, and skis. Ted I have you on the record as saying you arent doing shit these days, so I assume you will be there. Chris, hop in the celica and you can be there in 6 hours. It sounds like Rowlands is already in, while Sundy is already out. I assume Ax is out too, while I have no idea if Pat would be interested or not. Let me know so I can put you on the list.
Sam out.
