The perfect opportunity

As soon as I read this article, I knew Jonathan left Senegal too soon.

Espeically after he's gone through a few brews, I know from personal experience that there is an animal instinct in him to wrestle that needed to be unleashed in Senegal. All he needs is a toilet just like the one in the Dillon bathroom to puke in and a hallway to charge down before he can tackle his opponent in the sand, or on a couch in my case. Watch Sam's videotape from sophomore year again if you don't believe me on that one. That's all I have, but I thought I should share my idea with everyone.

I had a farm in Africa

That movie sucked! Her farm burns down and she gets some STD from her husband and everyone but her dies. Not that I've seen it. I just heard.

New blog news
1. I sent everyone an email to subscribe to the blog. That means that you can receive an email everytime the blog is updated. If you didn't get it, or deleted by accident, you can resubscribe at the bottom of the blog page. This hopefully will decrease the time between messages.
2. Audioblogger lets you leave up to a 5 minute phone message, which will be posted on the blog for all to hear. I don't see this having wide use, but a drunk dial to all your friends at the same time might be nice. I'd post a sample, but I hate the sound of my voice. Axford said he was going to do it, but so far nothing. Audioblogger.com is where you go to sign up if you want.

It won't be long now
As Sam mentioned, Alissa's wedding is fast approaching. I don't know if anyone has thought about presents. It's traditional to give money for the actual wedding, but Greg had mentioned we could go in on something big and have it mailed to her place in Washington. I know Jonathan, Sam, and Ax check in here. If you are interested, spread the word and let me know.

I am definitely taking Friday off before the wedding. So depending on how work is, I'll either drive in Thursday night and get in around 10-11ish or drive in Friday morning.

On another note, I just finished my first year of Grad school, with one to go. I think this means I'll be the first one to an advanced degree. Suck it Ted, Pat, and Rowlands. Unless Ax finishes up before me, which I wouldn't mind because we are soulmates.

Peace out,

Chris

Welcome back

Sundy, hello and welcome back. Hope you and Meryl had as much fun as Meryl did with Robert (look left).
From your photo album, it looks like a great trip. Kind of makes me want to go to Senegal. I'm not sure that "brown baby" is the preferred nomenclature, however.

There are about six weeks left til the wedding. Has anyone else made travel plans?

And how about that humble, hard-working, intelligent Brady Quinn. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=forde_pat&id=2449290

Drury is ready to be torn down

Dudes,

I just got an email that our hotel is completely assembled and ready for deconstruction. What's new with everyone? I feel like Chris and I are the only losers who still check this thing. I've posted pictures from my Africa trip on Yahoo!Photos: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/senegal_pics/my_photos. Enjoy!

Later friends,
Jonathan

Games, Games, Games

Hey,

I put in for all the games. I'm not planning on going to all of them, but being so close, I can always unload them.

Season finale of "the Office" = solid

Peace Out,

Chris

creep

Dudes,

In case you didn't get my email, I also put in for Penn State and Michigan. I think I'm an old enough alumnus that it is my time to knock loudly on my Dillon room door at 7:00am, fabricate tales about my glory days, stay much longer than I'm welcome and generally creep out the kid living there...and then repeat annually for forty years.

I can't wait until the wedding!!

Picture

Ted, this is how you post a picture. All you have to do is click on the picture button.

Greg Maddux 5-1. Wood, Zambrano, and Prior a combined 0-2. Greg Maddux is my new hero. Without him, the Cubs would suck even more. I know it is hard to believe.

Cubs suck again

I am applying for all the games on my monogram application, and a few on the alumni one if they will let me. I have to double check that.

I'm gonna have a pretty busy fall, so I won't be going to as many games as last year. That and the fact that I won't really know anyone there and won't have a free place to stay. We'll see as things get closer.

Anyways, that's all I've got. Jonathan is Africa trying not to get any diseases, so we should all pray for him.

Peace Out,

Chris

Go Hoosiers!

Seriously, that nickname annoys me because it makes Indiana people sound like illiterate hicks, but anyway..

I found out today that I will be on the Bloomington, IN campus for the next two years at IU medical school. The undergrad campus is also there too- it's about an hour south of Indianapolis. I'd put up some IU picture logo or something but even after working 3 years as an I.T. person I can't figure out how to do that. I'm thinking about moving in this summer to get the hell out of fort wayne asap. Anyone who wants to visit and party (before classes start, or after when I know my schedule) where there is a real college town let me know. I promise I will make it worth your visit.. wait, that sounded kind of homosexual. Given that IU was named the #1 party school a few years ago, I may be observing a few stomach pumps and what not. I've heard that the professors there are great, and there are only 27 students in the 1st year class there.

I put in my football ticket lottery application since nobody responded to Pat's email.. I applied for Penn State, Michigan, UCLA, and North Carolina. I will be 4 hours away, and I will try to make it to as many games as possible. That's all I have.

Peace,
Ted

I'M BACK!!!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat's happening,

I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. Numerous things happened to me that left me without contact to anyone! First off, on April 13 my cell phone and wallet got stolen right out of my locker in our team's locker room...DAMMIT! And then after dealing witht that, I get home, turn on my computer and my power source starts spitting out smoke. Not only did it just fry the power source but it also burnt out my harddrive with Windows on it and my mother board! So I've been stuck back in the late 80's with no cell and no internet!

I finally just got a new cell through e-bay on Monday but something is effed on it already. It makes some weird crackling noise that is unbearable from my end and, from what I've heard, pretty bad from the the other end too. So now i gotta get that figured out! It's a sweet phone though...it's the Motorola ROKR, the first phone with i-Tunes. It has a speaker system in it that bumps the tunes pretty good too so you dont' even need headphones if you didn't want to use them. So whoever didn't get my e-mail (or who hasn't responded to it yet) send me your cell numbers again.

Well my year here is coming to an end. I'm supposed to be writing a large and in charge paper on salary arbitration right now for my Sport Law class, but i'm procrastinating like a mother! I still got 3 more weekends left of ball. This weekend we go to Fairfield, Ct then we're at home in the B-lo for our last two weekends...then its total debauchery for me....HURRRAY! Our team blows, just ask Sam since he was witness to our suckage! Pat was lucky to see a half decent game! While Notre Dame goes on a 23 game winning streak this year, my team has managed to put together 14 wins on the season so far...!!! Ouch!

Anyways...felt like filling ya in cause I've been absent for so long!
And no Chris, I did pay my bills, i just had to put a hold on my phone calls cause some other shmo had my phone!

Aight homeys...I'm out
