Gentlemen,
Nice looking house Sam. Hardwood floors and a finished basement look pretty nice. I call dibs on a bed the next time I'm out in Iowa City. Axford will be heading there on Valentine's Day weekend, which kind of sucks because it might be tough to get away.
I have my airfare booked for Pat's wedding. As I've mentioned in emails, I'm flying to Myrtle Beach. Of course the day after I booked, US Air put a nice direct flight to Charleston up. Oh well, I get to enjoy a nice drive down the coast. I haven't booked a hotel room yet, but Jonathan and I had talked about sharing a room (probably at the Marriott).
Molly and I have registered at Target and Macy's thus far. I don't say this to encourage you to buy us stuff, but rather to point out the absurdity that is registering. I know I'm the second to last one to get married (looking at you Greg), so I'm guessing you all have been through this. To me, registering is saying to yourself that everything you own right now is crap (or in my case, it's Molly telling me that my stuff is crap). We went to a "sip and scan" event at Macy's and they have all the vendors/company reps there to peddle there goods (Oh Capitalism). Then if you register for a bunch of shit from one company, they give you a free gift. I told Molly we should just register for 4-5 sets of pots and pans so we can get some free shit. I love free stuff. Anyways, I should not go on waxing philosophical about this, or the blog will truly die.
Winter is starting to make me stir crazy and it isn't even February yet.

April is the month to move
Thanks for posting Chris, your home looks beautiful. A great place to kick off married life. Im posting it here for the record: ive got dibs on the second bedroom for any future group trips to Chicago. Ha!
Some similar news from Iowa. On April 1, Amy and I will be moving into our first home! Really excited about it. From my first place in DC to our new home, this will make 8 moves in the last five years. I am really looking forward to settling down a bit. Its a 50 year home bordering a park, about 1-1.5 miles to campus. Some pictures below - I dont know how to do a slide show. Hopefully I can convince some of you to make it out to Iowa in the near future, id love some visitors.
So who is going to Pat's wedding? Im making my travel plans this week. Anyone need a roommate? Its unclear whether Amy can make it as her finals are the next week, but keeping our fingers crossed. May will be here before we know it. Another busy wedding season ahead!
Keep the posts coming. Looking forward to seeing you all this spring and summer.

New Place
I'm trying to save a dying blog. Molly and I found a place to begin our marital bliss. It's pretty close to where I'm living now, so the commute won't change dramatically. We're on the second floor of a 3-story house. It's an old building, but it's recently been rehabbed and we're pretty pumped about it. It has surround sound built into the ceiling. I'll move in at the end of April (one week before Pat's wedding), and Molly will move in after we're married. I've placed a slideshow below so you can see some pictures. It's a 2 bedroom apartment, so plan on visiting.
Take care,
Chris
PS - We are sending out the Save-the-Dates for our wedding this week. It's got hotel information on it. The Residence Inn has a free breakfast, shuttle to the reception, fridge and microwave, and is walking distance to a Target (you can buy booze at Targets in Illinois). That's my recommendation for you guys.
