An incredible offer of which none of you will likely take advantage:

Shane McGowan (left) and the Pogues are performing at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on March 9th.

If anyone wants to go, please let me know. VIP tickets, limo service, a penthouse room, food and booze will be yours, free of charge.

You must let me know very soon if you are interested.

Assuming none of you will take advantage of this, I will preemptively call you all very lame.

Finals and Cold

Sorry about not posting a quicker reply Sam. I've been kind of caught up with finals over the last couple of weeks. Had two yesterday. 3 hours of stats = not fun.

Anyway, Ireland sounds quite interesting. I also worry about getting everyone on board, but I will not hold us back. I take that back, I have a class that only runs half the semester, and the final might be directly around St. Patrick's day. I'll have to check when the class is supposed to end online.

If Ireland doesn't work, we definitely need to do something. I've been trying to think what is central for all of us. Jonathan and I are the farthest West. I find it slightly funny that "Manifest Destiny" has only pushed one person West of the Mississippi. Anyway, central locations seem to be Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. But those all sound kind of horrible. April or May would probably work better for me because I know my class will be over, but I'll check my class schedule.

We need more input on this issue. I demand it.
Later, Chris

Spring Break '06

Dudes,

Well, Ireland does sound amazing. I'm torn. I wouldn't mind the ease of just going somewhere central (in the United States) and all getting drunk around a fire, but I can also see the attraction of going to Ireland and all getting drunk around a fire and trying to get Ted to ride a wild goat. I'm guessing the former (a camping trip, staying in the US, etc.) might be a little easier to pull off, even though it isn't as sweet. Those are my two cents. What do the rest of you guys think?
