Happy Belated

Ted,

Hope the B-Day was good. Glad to hear that you've graduated to a really drink Gin. I plan on drinking only gin on the rocks at the wedding.

You are welcome to come to Chicago as far as I'm concerned. I don't know what Jonanthon and John are planning on doing for sleeping. We'll figure it out though.

Finally, in honor of Teddo's Birthday, I thought we should recognize the two people that brought him to us. Behold Ted, the love child of Jason Biggs and Jack Black.

forgive me Ted

Sorry Ted, Happy Birthday!
We will celebrate in two weeks.

Happy birthday to me

I had to say it, since no one else would. It's my birthday, and I can go into a drunken rant if I want to. Ok so I'm not drunk yet, but I will be soon. By the way I discovered the best drink yet, a gimlet- gin and lime juice, I had it with dinner tonight. Anyway, if I'm actually invited.. I'll be there in Chicago the week after the wedding. No one should have an excuse for not calling anymore since I sent out an email with my new cell phone number. Chris, how are you going to give money for the wedding? Do you bring an envelope with a check to the reception, or do you mail it to her house? One more thing, I'll be moving into my house in Bloomington, IN, home of IU's undergrad campus and the princeton review's biggest party school a few years ago, around the beginning of August or end of July, so anyone who can visit should come. I promise it will be better than all of the encounters with high school girls I've been hearing about. I was hit on while driving down the street there visiting, so hopefully that's a good sign. And no it wasn't a hooker, it was two college girls. Enough of this, I'm going out to celebrate my birthday night.

Later,
Ted

Chicago trip

Hello all,

Hope everyone's summer is going well. If you haven't yet, you should definately sign up for the e-mail service from the blog.....it makes it easier to remember to post every once in a while.

Anway, I've just been hangin in the 'Burgh for the past 2 weeks. Peter just graduated from NA, so we had the big graduation party for him last Sat. Good times. I went to his graduation, and wow were the girls hot. They looked kind of young, but not really. I know Chris is with me on this one. As him about his lovely lady at the last of the many wedding he's been to.

I'll be leaving for Korea on Wednesday, so I hope yins all have fun in St. Louis. I'm pissed I won't be there, it's gonna be fun. Someone is going to have to just get married so we can have another wedding/excuse to meet up and party sometime soon.

In case you don't have enough fun at the wedding, I'll be meeting up with Jonathan and Chris in Chicago the weekend after (July 21st-23rd) so if you'll be anywhere near Chicago or if you want to make a road trip or something, it'd be great to see more people.

Chris and Jonathan: I just bought my flight. I'll be there on Friday, July 21st at 12:30 pm, and I'm staying till Tuesday. Just FYI. Hopefully you can get off work that Friday Jonathan. And Chris, I'll be hanging around a few extra days if you have nothing to do. I think I'm staying at Erin's, so we'll see how that goes.

So have fun, get more drunk than planned, and please...I want to hear some good stories along the lines of Jonathan knocking down the wedding cake at 7 pm in a drunken rage.

Later!

Hey all,

Less than a month now until Alissa's big day. I am a little worried about your last post Sam - "no love" and no message. I'll call you today to raise your spirits. Oh yes, I can raise spirits.

As for Alissa's wedding present. I think I'm just gonna give money. I checked out the registry at Target and Crate and Barrel, and I wasn't impressed. Nothing that really stood out to me. So unless I suddenly think a duvee cover would work, I probably will just do money.

Nothing to much to report. I was at a wedding in Dallas last week (girl on the track team). I am fine-tuning my "grame" for Alissa's wedding. For those of you who don't know, grame is the opposite of game, and I have quite a bit of it. One might think the opposite of game is emag, but that just sounds stupid.

I'm in the dark about US Soccer, until I can watch it on TiVo tonight.

Peace,
Chris

no love

For Pat

A. The general rule of thumb is to try to estimate how much your meal will cost, or generally between $65 and $150 per person. If you brought a date, you both should contribute to a larger gift. If you simply canĂ‚’t afford this much, then give the nicest gift that you can.

I'm pretty sure Alissa isn't having some black tie lobster tail wedding, so I figure anywhere between $50-$100 would be perfectly acceptable, since our only dates are our right hands. If you have a real job (Sundy, Greg, and Anthony) I would guess you would probably give around $200-$250 (last comment was sarcasm). Blogs can be tricky for displaying emotion.

As for Pat's other question. I'll probably be in late Thursday or midday Friday. I'm pretty sure Sam is flying in Thursday night. Can't wait to see you all.

Peace out,
Chris

Another gaaaaaaaayyyyy question

Straight question first: For anyone who's getting in on friday, what time are you getting in? It looks like I might be able to get in as early as 7:30 or so, but not sure yet, still looking at tickets. Anyone who knows anybody else's schedule feel free to let me know.

Gay question: How much is a friend supposed to spend on a wedding present? I'm sure I should just ask my mother like I'm sure all of you did. F-ing mamas' boys. But seriously, like what, 50 bucks?

Alright boyos, see y'all soon!

Short and Sweet

Hey y'all,

Pat, glad to see you up on the blog again. Sounds like the job is pretty sweet. My advice, take it "one piece at a time, and it won't cost you a dime. -Johnny Cash. So I guess it isn't my advice. For those of you who do not know the reference, get cultured.

Pat, I don't know what is more gay, your question about where Alissa is registered, or the fact that I know. She is registered at Target and Crate and Barrel I know. She might be registered another place but I can't remember. She doesn't have any really big things on the registry that we could all go in on, but if you guys see anything on there at that looks good for all of us, blog it.

World Cup Soccer in full swing. God bless TIVO. I couldn't take today off to watch the US, so I am cutting myself off from the world in order to make sure that I don't know what happens until I watch it.

Peace Out,

Chris

How to you the noise that an armpit fart makes?

What it is, fools!

Sorry I'm not as punctual as the average bear in blogging. Plus I didnt want to report in when I was in such limbo. But exams ended before May, and I finally just started my summer job last week. I'm working at the BMW plant in Greenville with the attorney (singular) there. It's SWEET! The workload's easy, the cafeteria's pretty decent, there's a lot of Germans around to get rid of all the Poles that happen to saunter in, and the pay's not too bad either. Oh, and they put me up for free in an apartment, so I dont have to live with my parents (although I frequently mooch food at casa Scarlett). No, no company car.

So that's swell, but having a job's really cutting into my drinking time. By the end of 6 weeks off with nothing to do, I had relearned the skills of senior year on how to fill an entire day with nothing at all. Oh, bliss.

Oh, and I dated another girl, Dare, and broke up with her in the meantime. Whatever. She was gonna be out of town all summer. Oh, and last week I made out with a girl who graduated in '05 just like us. Graduated high school, that is. Muahahahahaha!

Alright, gayest question on the blog: Does anybody know where Alissa is registered? Goddammit I hate anything that reminds me I'm growing up. I havent bought plane tickets yet, but I should get on that soon, but it doesnt look like I'll be able to take a day off, which puts me there at like midnight on friday. So that sucks, but I'm no puss about wanting to go to sleep or whatever; I can sleep when I die. Maybe y'all try to drink somewhere where I can catch up when I get in. I'll pregame on the plane. Hard. Good times to come, friends.

Jonathan: Seriously, AFRICA?

Later dudes!

To answer Chris's question, I'd definately be willing to throw in $5 or so for Alissa's present......we could get her a hat or something.

Anway, long time no post, I know. I just checked and signed up for the e-mail service, so I should be able to be updated a little bit more. Seems like other peeps aren't doing much better though.

I'm almost done with school, thank God. This Friday is my last final. It was a good year, but I'm definately ready for a break. I'm really bummed I can't make it too the wedding, but I'd like to visit as many people as possible this summer since other than the Korea trip, I have nothing to do.

Chris, call me back you bastard.

Later y'all,

John

Maria?

Teddy,

Did you change your cell number and not tell any of us? Chris and I tried to drunk dial your mobile yesterday and we got some recorded message instead of your sweet, delicate voice. What the deuce?
