It looks like I might not be able to afford the trip. $712.00 is best I can find. I will be checking the "last minute deals" constantly...I really want to make it out there. Is Charleston the only airport that works?
Axford, when you make it down to Maryland, give a call.

Sam, if you have the time off work, and money is the only problem, can't you drive? Ax has an excuse, but I'm not sure about this. If you have a car now, you don't have any excuse. If you don't have a car, then I still think you could find one. Renting one and driving is way less than $712. I don't know if you're worried about getting sand somewhere or what, but Pat, Greg, Rowlands, and I will be waiting for a real answer here.
Oh, and if you're wondering why I'm up at 4am, I can tell you the story later when I see you in SC.
Come on buddy, I've really been looking forward to seeing you. Don't crap out on old Pat. I don't think Myrtle Beach or Savannah or Columbia would be cheaper, but you can try them, just factor in gas money as a cost, but I don't mind the time driving to come pick you up. The renting a car is a possibility, but here's your best bet if you can't get car for cheap: Amtrak. I just checked out a train, takes like 8 hours (same as drive time), leaves on Saturday morning and takes you back next Friday -- cost you $300 - $350. Check it out.
Another option: Talk Tim and Sarah into coming and get them to drive you down. That'd be a good time.
Really looking forward to seeing you man
